OXFORD, Miss. -- The fifth season of Raycom's summer television series, “Football Saturdays in the South,” begins airing throughout the Southeast on Saturday, and Ole Miss and its gridiron tradition will be prominently showcased.

This weekend’s series premiere, entitled “Game Day” will feature college football’s greatest tailgating experience with The Grove. Rebel great and Super Bowl XLII MVP Eli Manning is among the two storylines in episode three, “Legends,” and new head coach Houston Nutt is one of three individuals profiled in episode 4, “Coaches.”

The first installment of “Football Saturdays in the South” will be televised Saturday at noon CT on WCBI in the Columbus/Tupelo region, WJTV in Jackson, WMDN in Meridian and WHLT in Hattiesburg/Laurel. The show can also be seen on WABG in Greenwood/Greenville at 1 p.m., WPTY and WLMT in Memphis at 3 p.m. and WLOX on the Mississippi Gulf Coast at 11 p.m.
