Hello Rebel Fans,
It's almost that time of year again. The basketball season is less than a month away. I hope that you all are just excited as we are. We are very excited about this year's team and season. Our schedule is very challenging. We host Ohio State, Tennessee, LSU, and Vanderbilt, and we have some other big road tests, which include Texas and Arizona as well as the conference schedule. We are very anxious and ecstatic about the opportunity.
We return an experienced backcourt with the addition of six seniors and one new freshman. I know not just me, but the other seniors also want to go out in this final season with a bang. We plan on getting Ole Miss back to the NCAA Tournament and hopefully compete for a national championship if everyone stays healthy.
Due to NCAA rules, we are only allowed to practice twice a week for only an hour. Right now we are working very hard on the court, in the classroom and also in the weight room. Our motto this year is "One Team, One Goal." Everyone from the players to the staff feels the excitement about this season, and I hope you do also.
