OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss freshman Whitney Craven was named the Southeastern Conference's Freshman of the Week for the final weekend of competition, the league office announced on Monday.

Craven helped lead the Rebels to a win over Arkansas in dramatic fashion in the regular season finale last Wednesday, posting her fourth double-double of the season.

After dropping the first two sets of the match, Ole Miss came out of the break and went to work to rally for a 3-2 win over the Razorbacks. The win gave the Rebels a season sweep of Arkansas and the program's eighth straight win in the series.

Ole Miss has not lost to Arkansas since November 6, 2005.

Craven posted 13 kills and a season-high 22 digs in the win as she helped spark the Rebel rally. She averaged 4.40 digs per set, well above her season average and besting her pervious high of 19 digs set at Mississippi State two weeks earlier.

Craven finished the season with 218 kills and 199 digs.
