The University of Mississippi Athletics
Courtesy Car Program
5/12/2009 | Athletics
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics operates a courtesy car program that helps offset costs incurred providing vehicles for the use of athletics administrators and coaches. Auto dealers donate the use of cars to departmental staff members and in return receive certain designated benefits through the UMAA Foundation. Cars to be donated to the program must meet minimum specifications to be accepted into the courtesy car program. Minimum car specifications and UMAA Foundation benefit levels are set forth in the Courtesy Car agreement that may be obtained by contact John Hartwell (see contact information below). Benefit levels will be determined by the type of car donated to the program by that dealer or donor. The program is coordinated through the UMAA Foundation with the equitable distribution of courtesy cars being made by the Athletics Administrator in charge of the program.
For more information about the Courtesy Car Program, please contact John Hartwell at 662-915-7511 or jhhartwe@olemiss.edu.
