With the win, WKU forced an elimination Regional championship game against Ole Miss on Monday at 7 p.m.
WKU improved to 6-7 all-time in NCAA Tournament games.
WKU improved to 3-3 all-time versus Ole Miss.
WKU improved to 33-12 when recording 10 or more hits this season.
WKU improved to 30-4 when out-hitting their opponent.
WKU improved to 26-0 this season when scoring 10 or more runs in a game.
The Hilltoppers' 536 runs scored this season eclipsed the previous school record of 518 set in 1988.
A stolen base by junior 3B Wade Gaynor gave him 20 for the season, making him the first player in school history to record 20+ home runs (25) and 20+ steals in a season.
Gaynor also scored two runs to give him 83 runs for the season and moved him into a tie with Rob Tomberlin for the single-season record. He also hit two home runs for the fourth time this season.
Sophomore catcher Matt Rice set a career high with five hits in the game. Rice finished the game a perfect 5-for-5 at the plate with two runs scored and two RBI.
Junior 1B Jake Wells tied a career high with four hits in the contest, including the game-winning home run in the ninth.

Ole Miss fell to 39-31 all-time in NCAA Tournament play.
Ole Miss fell to 17-15 in NCAA Tournament games under head coach Mike Bianco.
Ole Miss fell to 11-3 all-time in home NCAA Regional games.
The Rebels dropped the first two postseason home games to Western Kentucky and Washington in 2004 and won 11 in a row
at the friendly confines of Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field prior to tonight's loss.
All-SEC OF Jordan Henry continued his hot play at the plate reaching base twice (single, walk) in four at-bats on the day. In the regional, Henry is 6-for-12 at the dish with three runs scored and four RBI. He reached base in 5-of-5 plate appearances (three hits, two walks) against Monmouth on Friday. He has now reached base safely in 58-of-60 games this season. The run he scored in the fifth today gave him 70 for the season, which is the second-most in school history for a season.
Ole Miss turned a season-high four double plays in the game. The Rebels have now turned 47 double plays on the year.
