Spots Available In Rebel Baseball Summer Camps

6/16/2009 | Baseball

OXFORD, Miss.- Spots still remain for all three of the 2009 Ole Miss summer baseball camps. The June 22-26 camp is designed for players entering first-through-eighth grades, while the remaining two camps, July 13-16 and July 20-23, accept players from a wider variety of age groups, from those entering first grade through those entering their senior year of high school in the fall. All three specialty camps are hosted by the Ole Miss baseball coaching staff and players.

All three week-long camps will feature work in primary and secondary position fundamentals, hitting mechanics, throwing and fielding, bunting and sliding, team offensive and defensive strategies, and instructional games.  Campers will be grouped by age and will be divided into teams, ensuring that all campers will receive one-on-one instruction.  Not only will your camper receive instruction by one of collegiate baseball’s nationally ranked programs, but will gain access to the beautifully-manicured field, indoor hitting complex, and newly renovated Swayze Field at O-U Stadium.  These 2009 Summer Camps provide campers with a unique opportunity to play in one of college baseball’s most highly regarded and recognized facilities.

The costs of each camp vary; Morning Only- $155 (9a.m. - noon), Full Day- $240 (9a.m. 4p.m.), Overnight- $355 (4 Campers per room), and Semi- Private- $430 (2 Campers per room).  For more information on our 2009 Summer Baseball Camps, please visit the camp website at www.olemissbaseballcamps.com or call the Ole Miss baseball office at (662) 915-6643.
