Baldwin, Odetunde Compete At USA Track And Field Championships

EUGENE, Ore. Ole Miss track and field members LaJada Baldwin and Wale Odetunde competed against some of the nation’s top talent on the first day of the USA Track and Field Outdoor Championships from Hayward Field on the campus of the University of Oregon. 

 

Baldwin took part in the 400 meters and finished in 20th place with a time of 54.64 amongst some of the best professional and amateur athletes in the United States. 

 

Odetunde leaped a distance of 49-10.00 on his way to a 14th place finish in the triple jump. 

 

Ole Miss will be represented again in the championships on Friday as Lee Ellis Moore will compete in the 400 meter hurdles at 6:25 p.m. (CT).  Freshman Brian Knight will participate in the high jump at the USA Junior Track and Field Outdoor Championships at 7 p.m.
