David, Randolph Named To Ping Southeast Region Team

“I am very happy for Joe and Jonathan to make the All-Region team,” head coach Ernest Ross. “Both had very good seasons and have excellent careers ahead of them. I do believe their best golf is in front of them. This year was a real confidence-builder for both, although Jonathan got off to a slow start with an injury. Both players will be among the top players in the nation next season.”
David, who just completed his freshman year with the Rebels, earned All-SEC second team honors and led the team in stroke average with a 72.83. He posted two top-five and three top-10 finishes on the year. David ended the year ranked No. 68 in the Golfstat Top 100.
Randolph, a rising junior, also earned a spot in the Golfstat Top 100, finishing No. 67. He was second on the team in stroke average and posted two top-10 finishes including a team-leading tie for sixth at the NCAA Central Regional.
Both players helped lead the Rebels to a final national ranking of No. 27, the team’s third consecutive NCAA Regional appearance and seven top-five finishes on the year.
