Rebel Shop Selling Wristbands To Benefit Athletics

OXFORD, Miss. -- "Be A Rebel" is the theme of Ole Miss Athletics this year, and fans can show their Rebel spirit by purchasing a wristband with that slogan at the Rebel Shop.
Proceeds from the $5 band, which is available in Red and Blue, will benefit the Ole Miss Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and the Rebel Ready program, which coordinates community service, personal development and other activities that assist in the growth of Ole Miss student-athletes.
While the motto "Be A Rebel" originated with the Ole Miss marketing department, the idea for the wristband derived from Rebel student-athletes, who wanted fans to be a part of their programs while still raising proceeds for Rebel Ready.
The bands are currently available in the Rebel Shop, which is located in two locations on campus, just west of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium and in the Student Union. Also this year, Ole Miss gameday programs are now for sale in the Rebel Shop.
