GENERAL NOTES
- Ole Miss improved to 94-15-5 in home openers ... When playing their home opener in Oxford, the Rebels are now 71-8-4.
- Dating back to last season, the Rebels have won eight straight games for the first time since reeling off 10 consecutive victories during the 1971-72 campaigns.
- Ole Miss is off to its first 2-0 start since the 2002 season, when the team opened with home wins over Louisiana-Monroe and Memphis.
- Ole Miss is 44-11 versus non-conference opponents dating back to a 38-0 win over Tulane on Nov. 12, 1994 ... The Rebels are 33-6 in their last 39 non-conference games in Oxford and have won six straight.
OFFENSIVE NOTES
- The Rebels have posted 45 or more points in four straight games for the first time in school history ... Over its last six games, Ole Miss is averaging 46.5 points per outing, while holding the opposition to just 11.2 points.
- Junior QB Jevan Snead extended his school-record streak with his eighth straight game with multiple TD passes ... He has completed at least one TD pass in 11 consecutive games, which is five short of Eli Manning's school record ... Snead finished 16-of-28 for 209 yards, three TDs and no interceptions.
- Sophomore RB Brandon Bolden topped the 100-yard mark for the second time in the last three games and second time in his career with 105 yards on 13 carries ... Bolden led the team in rushing for the third straight game.
- Senior WR Shay Hodge collected his 15th career TD reception, which ties him with Mike Wallace for third on the Ole Miss all-time list ... Hodge finished with five grabs for 59 yards.
- Sophomore RB Enrique Davis rushed for a TD for the second straight game with a two-yard score in the first quarter ... It marked his fifth career touchdown.
- Senior RB Cordera Eason posted his third career rushing TD and first of the season with an eight-yard run in the third quarter.
- Freshman WR Pat Patterson notched his first career receptions, hauling in four passes for 79 yards with a 29-yard TD in the third quarter.
- Freshman WR Jesse Grandy scored his first career TD on 46-yard end-around ... He finished with two rushes for 57 yards.
- Senior FB Andy Hartmann collected his first career TD with a five-yard reception in the second quarter.
- Redshirt freshman TE Ferbia Allen collected his first career catches with three for 29 yards.
- Redshirt freshman QB Nathan Stanley registered the first career completions of his career, going 2-for-3 for 33 yards.
DEFENSIVE NOTES
- Dating back to last year, Ole Miss has posted multiple interceptions in seven straight games and had an interception return for a TD for the third straight game.
- The Rebel defense recovered three fumbles for the first time since the 2005 Kentucky game.
- Freshman LB D.T. Shackelford posted his first career interception and returned it 58 yards for his first career TD ... He also posted a pair of fumble recoveries.
- Senior CB Cassius Vaughn notched his third career interception and second in the last three games, dating back to last season.
SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
- With five extra points today, junior K Joshua Shene extended his streak of successful PATs to 85, which is second on the all-time Rebel charts ... Shene was 1-for-1 on field goals, connecting from 42 yards out.
- Redshirt freshman Bryson Rose notched his first career points with a pair of extra points.
- Sophomore Derrick Herman had his first career kickoff return, a 23-yarder.
