Ole Miss Launches Student Rewards Program
9/23/2009 | Athletics
Ole Miss undergraduate and graduate students are rewarded for their attendance at many home varsity athletics events thanks to the Rebel Rewards program, which was launched fall 2009.
Rebel Rewards is a program created by Ole Miss Sports Properties to increase student support and involvement with Ole Miss Athletics. Students who attend specified athletics events will be awarded points and will receive prizes based on the level of their support.
For the 2009-10 academic year, Rebel Rewards will be divided into two separate terms. The fall session will begin with the first soccer game on August 28 and conclude on December 1. Participants will receive points for attending women's soccer, volleyball and a few non-conference women's basketball games in the fall session.
To participate, simply scan your student ID at the entrance of soccer, volleyball and women's basketball events. Each event that a student attends is worth 1 Rebel Rewards point.
Scanning will start when the gates open and will close 30 minutes after the start of the game. If you forget your card, you will not be eligible for that event's points.
Prizes are as follow:
4 points - Free Papa John's Pizza Gift Certificate
8 points - Rebel Rewards T-Shirt
10 points - Men's Basketball Student Season Tickets
14 points - Autographed picture of Coach Nutt and a chance to start a "Hotty Toddy" at the Northern Arizona Game
20 points - Entered into drawing for a variety of prizes including:
Chik-fil-a milkshakes and chicken nuggets for a year
Gift certificates to Rebel Rags
Gift certificates to The Rebel Shop
Students will be able to keep up with their points on olemisssports.com. Prizes can be picked up at the Rebel Sports Marketing Office located in the Athletic Administration Building. You must present your student ID when picking up prizes.
