At Ole Miss, the tailgating tradition is a source of pride. Be a part of the effort that is taking it to a whole new level by supporting the Crunch Time campaign. For the past three years, the Crunch Time campaign has promoted a new tradition of recycling in the Grove and in Vaught Hemingway Stadium on gameday.

For the Auburn game this weekend, Ole Miss will be competing against other SEC schools to see who can collect the most recyclables on gameday.

You can support this effort by placing aluminum cans and plastic bottles in the nearest clear stream recycling bin in The Grove and Circle. In the stadium, plastic bottles can be placed in a clear stream recycling bin located near each concession area, or you can simply pass down your plastic bottles to the end of your row to the stadium staff with the yellow vests following the PA announcement between the third and fourth quarters of the game.

Are you interested in serving as a volunteer? Volunteers can sign up individually or with a group (e.g. alumni group, organization, etc.) to volunteer from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday in The Grove before the game. For more information, please visit the volunteer page at olemiss.edu/green/volunteer.

We recognize that this effort is not an easy feat but we are excited about working with the Ole Miss community as we move forward with this initiative one step at a time. We are encouraged by the support we have received so far from volunteers, departments and campus organizations, and corporate partners.
