Ladner, Women's Hoops Signs Four

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss women's basketball team has signed four student-athletes for the 2011-12 school year head coach Renee Ladner announced today.
Danielle McCray, Gracie Frizzell, Monique Jackson and Tia Faleru and have each signed a letter of intent to play basketball for Ole Miss.
Danielle McCray
Daneille McCray is a 6-1 forward from West Palm Beach, Fla. She is the 85th best player and 25th best forward in the country as ranked by ESPNU HoopGurlz. McCray attends Trinity Christian Academy in Lake Worth, Fla., where is has been a four-year varsity starter. She won several honors in 2010 including being named Trinity Christian Academy's MVP, the Palm Beach Post's Player of the Year, a FAAZ (Florida Amateur Athletic Zone) Magazine Next Level selection and was named a First Team All-County selection by the Sun-Sentinel.
In 2009-10, she averaged 21.5 points, 13.3 rebounds and 4.5 blocks per game. For her career, McCray has recorded 1,967 points, 1,207 rebounds and 489 blocks. McCray plays AUU for Tennessee Flight where she won a Nike National Championship Title in 2010.

Gracie Frizzell
Gracie Frizzell is a 5-10 guard from Little Rock, Ark. Frizzell averaged 16 points and seven rebounds per game at Central Arkansas Christian High School. She has scored 931 career points and is sixth on the all-time scoring list at her high school. Frizzell was named Sophomore of the Year by the Arkansas Democrat in 2009. She is a two-time All-Conference 5A West honoree and a two-time All-State 5A selection.
Frizzell is a two-time Gatorade Player of the Year nominee in Arkansas and won two state championships with her AAU team, the Arkansas Mavericks.

"Gracie has a scorer's mentality and is a three-point shooting specialist. She will bring great work ethic and energy to our team."
Monique Jackson
Monique Jackson is a 6-1 forward from, Phenix City, Ala. She averaged 20 points and 16 rebounds per game at Central High School and was named the Ledger-Enquirer Girls Basketball Player of the Year and First Team All Bi-City. She is the 40th ranked forward as ranked by ESPNU HoopGurlz. Jackson led the Lady Red Devils to the Alabama High School Athletic Association 6A quarterfinals in 2009. She was named to the All-State team by the Alabama Sportswriters Association and was named to the South team in the 2010 North-South All Star Game.
Jackson was a First Team All-East Alabama honoree by the Opelika-Auburn News. She is the second-ranked post by BamaPrepGirls.MVP and team captain at Central. In addition, she also lettered three years in volleyball. Jackson played for Coach Tim Marshall on the Georgia Blazers RED AAU team along with Lady Rebel signee Tia Faleru.

Tia Faleru
Faleru is a 6-0 wing from Carroll, Ala. She attends Ozark High School where she has played all five positions during her career. Faleru averaged 24 points, 12 rebounds and six assists per game. She is a two-time Dothan Eagle Player of the Year and led her team to three consecutive 5A playoffs. Faleru was a 5A First Team All-State selection by the Alabama Sportswriters Association.
She was named to the South team in the 2010 North-South All-Star Game and is ranked as the number one wing by BamaPrepGirls. In addition to basketball, Faleru is one of the state's top performers in track and is a state qualifier in the 100 and 200 meter events. Faleru was a teammate of Lady Rebel signee Monique Jackson on the Georgia Blazers RED AAU team coached by Tim Marshall.
Ladner on Faleru:
"Tia is an extremely quick and athletic wing. She has good size and can play guard or forward. She is a good defender with great instinct and the ability to get to the basket."
