OXFORD, Miss. - The men of Kappa Alpha Order turned out for a good cause alongside many other fraternities and sororities and claimed a $500 prize to donate to local charity at Ole Miss' volleyball match against top-ranked Florida last Friday.

Kappa Alpha had the largest turnout of any Greek organization at the annual Greek Night event for volleyball and helped cheer on the Rebels against the Gators. In doing so, the fraternity claimed the prize and will be donating it to the Boys & Girls Club of Oxford.

""It was exciting to be a part of that atmosphere Friday night at the Gillom Center," said Paris Buchanan, a member of Kappa Alpha Order. "The majority of our group had never attended a volleyball match. I know they had a great time, and many plan to come back for future games. We were just glad to be a part of it."

Almost 800 people turned out for the match against Florida and the Rebel volleyball team split the weekend matches to move to 17-6 on the season and 11-3 in the Southeastern Conference. Ole Miss will return to action this weekend with a pair of road matches at Arkansas and No. 16 LSU.
