Women's Golf Opens Spring At Kinderlou Challenge

VALDOSTA,Ga. - Frost delayed the start of Ole Miss women's golf team's spring season Monday, and they were only able to complete the first round and part of the second round on day one at the Kinderlou Forest Challenge, before play was suspended due to darkness.

The Rebels shot a 307 in the first round at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club, and were on holes 11-14 of the second round when play was stopped. They are currently tied for ninth among the 18-team field. Tulane leads the field at 3-over.

Sophomore Haley Millsap is presently tied for eighth at plus one for the tournament, while senior Sara Grantham is tied for 13th at plus two.
