Last Chance To Renew Football Season Tickets
4/29/2010 | Athletics
OXFORD, Miss. - Little time remains for Ole Miss fans to renew their football season tickets for 2010 and beyond. The priority deadline is Friday at 5 p.m. CT.
Ole Miss sold out of season tickets in 2009 with a school-record 51,000 sold, and as of Thursday morning, the waiting list for 2010 season tickets was more than 1,200 and rising.
"The demand for season tickets is as high as ever, and we fully anticipate selling out the stadium again in 2010," said Sans Russell, Ole Miss Senior Associate Athletics Director for Ticketing and Priority Seating. "There have been a lot of additions to the waiting list especially in the last few days, and everyone is anxious to see what seats will be available."
Exisiting season ticket orders can be renewed by visiting OleMissSports.com, calling the ticket office at 1-888-732-8587 or mailing in the renewal form postmarked by April 30. Orders received after Friday's priority deadline will be accepted but are subject to non-priority policies.
New season ticket customers or persons wishing to add to their existing order should get on the waiting list at OleMissSports.com or call the ticket office.
A deposit of $50 per ticket for North Endzone seats or $75 for all other stadium sections will ensure any season tickets that become available after Friday. The deposit will apply toward the ticket cost, but will be refunded in the event the order cannot be filled.
In the first two seasons under head coach Houston Nutt, the Rebels have reversed their fortunes and experienced success unparalleled in Oxford in 40 years, with the squad finishing No. 14 in the nation in 2008 and No. 20 in 2009. Ole Miss has posted consecutive nine-win records for the first time since 1961-62 and back-to-back January bowl victories for the first time since 1960-61.
