Robertson Named SEC Freshman Of Week

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss freshman jumper Ricky Robertson was selected as the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week following his performance Saturday at the Florida Relays.

Robertson set a new school record in the high jump and won the event after turning in a height of 7-05.75. His mark surpassed the previous school record of 7-03.25 he set earlier in the year at the Alabama Relays. In addition, his height is tied for the best in the world thus far this year.

His selection marks the second time this year Robertson has garnered the award.
