On Wednesday we got a police escort to Hoover High School where he took batting practice. It was so nice to bypass all the traffic heading to the stadium for the game. I guess since Auburn and Alabama were playing the first game, there were a lot of fans from both schools in the area. We had a great first day, beating South Carolina 3-0 behind pitching ace Drew Pomeranz and a huge homerun from Miles Hamblin. Afterwards it was time to celebrate on the bus. Hotty Toddy!
