OXFORD, Miss. -
Ole Miss rising senior golfer Jonathan Randolph continues his summer this week in Western New York at the 52nd annual Porter Cup, which is being played July 28-31 at Niagara Falls Country Club.
Randolph is among an elite field of collegiate and amateur golfers from the United States, Canada, Australia, South Korea, Argentina, Bolivia and South Africa who will be vying to have their name engraved on the Alexander L. Porter Cup.
Past winners of this prestigious event include Phil Mickelson, David Duval and Ben Crenshaw.
Currently ranked No. 36 in the world amateur rankings, Randolph is hoping to get back on track after missing the cut at his previous two events. The first team All-American was in Columbus, Ohio this past week competing in the Nationwide Tour event.
As a junior in 2009-10, Randolph posted three wins, eight top-five and nine top-10 finishes in 12 tournaments. He was a first-team All-Southeastern Conference selection and ended the year ranked No. 6 nationally in Golfweek.
The Porter Cup begins Wednesday with the first round and concludes Saturday with the final round.
