Diamond Rebs Continue Fall Scrimmages This Weekend

OXFORD, Miss.- The Ole Miss baseball team continues their fall workouts with a pair of scrimmages this weekend at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.

The Rebels will hold the first scrimmage of the weekend on Friday at 2:30 p.m. before taking Saturday off for the Ole Miss football game against Fresno State. The baseball team will then hit the diamond again on Sunday at 1 p.m. for the final scrimmage of the weekend.

Ole Miss opened fall practice last weekend with Scout Day on Friday and a pair of scrimmages over the weekend on Friday and Sunday.

Practices will run for the next six weeks culminating in the annual Ole Miss Baseball Fall World Series. The Fall World Series will consist of a best of three series beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 27, and run through Friday, Oct. 29, if necessary.
