OXFORD, Miss. - Members of the Ole Miss baseball team will be on hand to sign autographs and posters at the annual "Meet the Rebels" event prior to Saturday's men's basketball game against Tennessee.
Fans can get a poster schedule for the upcoming 2011 season at Tad Smith Coliseum and have it signed by members of the squad and coaching staff before cheering on the Rebel basketball team against the Volunteers.
Signing begins at 2 p.m. on the concourse level of the Coliseum behind the student section, and will continue through halftime of the basketball game. The basketball game will tip-off at 3 p.m.
It won't just be an opportunity to interact with members of the current squad, however. Fans can also secure their spot in O-U Stadium for the upcoming season by purchasing season tickets at the "Meet the Rebels" event. Tickets will also be on sale for the first-ever Ole Miss Baseball Alumni Game to be held on Saturday, February 5 at Swayze Field.
Fans who purchase a ticket to the alumni game and a season ticket package on Saturday will receive a baseball autographed by the Diamond Rebs, while supplies last.
Ole Miss ranked in the top five nationally in attendance for the fourth straight year following the 2010 season with more than 220,000 fans flooding into O-U Stadium to cheer on the Rebels. It marks the sixth straight season that Ole Miss has ranked in the top 10 in attendance as Oxford continues to be one of the top destinations in America for fans of college baseball.
