OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss linebacker Serderius Bryant was named to the SEC All-Freshman team as voted on by the league's coaches, it was announced on Thursday.

A native of Sanford, Fla., Bryant played in every game this season with four starts and finished fifth on the squad and third among freshmen in the SEC with 61 tackles. He posted a career-high 10 tackles in his first career start at Kentucky, totaled eight tackles against Georgia and collected six tackles and 1.0 TFL at Auburn.

South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney was named the league's Freshman of the Year, while Arkansas tight end Garrett Uekman was named the team's honorary captain.
