Hello Rebel Fans!!
The Ole Miss Women's Golf team is on its way to New Orleans, La. for the Allstate Sugar Bowl Classic hosted by Tulane University.
We're heading down to the bayou just in time for the Mardi Gras celebration. We'll be staying in downtown NOLA amidst the biggest party of the year. We won't have time to catch any beads, but plan on catching plenty of birdies on the course.
We were fortunate enough to bring the weather from sunny Florida back to Oxford and have put in a lot of hard work since returning from Orlando. As a team, we have really focused on eliminating distractions, and that focus will be put to the test this weekend as we compete during a crazy week of Mardi Gras festivities. The Lady Rebels are ready to take on whatever NOLA throws at us, and we're looking forward to a great road trip!
This week's lineup includes senior Jillian Brodd, uniors Natalie Gleadall, Haley Millsap, and Ashley Lance, and myself as a sophomore. The weather forecast looks great with highs in the 70s and sunshine all week. We have a great trip ahead of us and maybe even a quick stop at Cafe du Monde, because what good is a trip to New Orleans without a delicious beignet?

NOLA may be ready for a Ragin' Cajun Mardi Gras celebration, but it isn't ready for the Lady Rebs to tackle a great golf course.
