Rebels Travel To Mississippi Valley State

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss will play its final non-conference game of the season on Wednesday, when the Rebels travel to face Mississippi Valley State in Itta Bena. First pitch is set for 6 p.m.  

Ole Miss enters the mid-week tilt with a 14-33 overall record and 3-17 mark in the SEC. The Rebels are led at the plate by freshman RT Cantillo, who boasts a .340 batting average, senior Brittany Barnhill, who has a team-high 20 RBI and freshman Londen Ladner, who has blasted a team-best five home runs. Senior Lindsey Perry paces the squad in the circle with an 11-3 record and a 3.02 ERA.

The Delta Devilettes enter the game with a 22-19 overall record and a 15-2 mark in SWAC play. Sophomore Alexandria Robertson  leads MVSU with a .383 average, five home runs and 26 RBI, while sophomore Kimberly Spivey  has posted a 14-11 record and a 2.89 ERA in the circle.

Ole Miss leads the all-time series 4-1and took the last meeting 4-0 in 2007. This game will mark the third time the Rebels have played at Mississippi Valley State.
