KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - The Ole Miss women's tennis team fell at No. 16 Tennessee 5-2 Sunday afternoon in Knoxville.
In singles play, Kristi Boxx, playing at number one, beat Natalie Pluskota 7-6 (7-5), 3-6, 1-0 (10-4). Also picking up a win for the Rebels in singles play was Caroline Rohde-Moe over Brynn Boren 6-3, 7-5 in No. 3 singles action.
In doubles play, Kristi Boxx and Abby Guthrie defeated Rosalía Alda and Millie Nichols 8-7 (8-6) in No. 1 doubles.
Up next for the Rebels (9-8, 2-6) are matches against Alabama and Auburn next Friday and Sunday in Oxford.
