Cantillo Named To SEC All-Freshman Team

OXFORD, Miss. - RT Cantillo has been named the SEC All-Freshman team, as voted on by the coaches, the league office announced on Wednesday.

A native of Santa Ana, Calif., Cantillo started 41 games in centerfield for Ole Miss and led the Rebels with a .315 batting average. Cantillo paced the team with 10 doubles and two triples and finished second on the team with seven stolen bases. Defensively, she led all Ole Miss outfielders with six assists and is the sixth player in school history to earn SEC All-Freshman honors.

Ole Miss will host the SEC Softball Tournament beginning Thursday at the Ole Miss Softball Complex.
