Rebel Pair Among Five Teams Under Par At Hooters Championship

DAHLONEGA, Ga. - Ole Miss' Kathryn Fowler and Haley Sanders are among five teams under par after the opening day of play Tuesday at the second annual Hooters Collegiate Team Championship here at Achasta, By Reynolds.
During the opening round alternate shot format, the Rebel duo posted a 2-under 70 and is in fourth, just two behind the Michigan State team of Lindsey Solberg/Caroline Powers, who shot 68. Fowler and Sanders carded four birdies on the day.
The Rebels' other team of rising seniors Haley Millsap and Ashley Lance shot 75 and is tied for 19th.
All 55 teams return to action on Wednesday morning for the second day of the Hooters Collegiate Team Championship with tee times set to begin at 8:00 a.m. playing in a best ball format.
