BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss track and field junior Ricky Robertson has been awarded Southeastern Conference Men's Field Athlete of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Robertson, a four-time All-American and four-time SEC champion in the high jump, cleared 7-04.25 to win the high jump at the Auburn Invitational on Saturday. That jump ranks him second in the nation this season and automatically qualified him for the NCAA Indoor Championships.

The Hernando, Miss., native also placed second in the long jump with a personal-best mark of 24-05.50, which ranks him 16th in the NCAA in that event.

Robertson now ranks among the nation's top 40 competitors in three different jump events (37th in the triple jump).
