Rod McCravy Memorial Meet Live Results

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss track and field team begins another weekend of indoor competition Friday as they will compete in the Rod McCravy Memorial Meet hosted by the University of Kentucky at the Nutter Field House in Lexington.

The meet will include 11 men's schools and 17 from the women's side. Fellow Southeastern Conference schools Kentucky, South Carolina and Vanderbilt will be participating among the women's teams, while the Wildcats and Gamecocks men's teams will also be represented this weekend.

Three top-25 ranked women's schools will be in attendance - No. 6 UCF, No. 14 Ohio State and No. 15 Southern Illinois. On the men's side, Ole Miss is the only top-25 team participating this weekend. The Rebel men currently rank No. 21 in the latest USTFCCCA poll.

All-American Ricky Robertson has gotten his junior season off to a terrific start. At this time, the Hernando, Miss., native is ranked among the nation's top 40 in three different jumping events and also this past week was named the SEC Men's Field Athlete of the Week. Nationally, he ranks second in the high jump, 16th in the long jump and 37th in the triple jump.

The Rebels also expect big performances this weekend from All-American Mike Granger, junior Isiah Young and freshman Sam Kendricks. Last weekend at the Auburn Invitational, Young finished third in the 200 meters with a time of 21.50, and Kendricks finished fifth in the pole vault with a height of 17-00.75, which tied him for second-best ever in the event in school history.

For the Rebel women, Kristin Bridges, Aria Gaines, Sofia Hellberg-Jonsen, Jazmin Miller, Marci Morman, and Logan Waites look to build upon their strong showings last weekend in Birmingham. Hellberg-Jonsen raced to a third-place finish in the 800 meters. Bridges was also impressive finishing fifth in the 400 meters, while Morman and Gaines finished second and third respectively in the triple jump.

Waites, one of only five seniors on the Rebels' roster, turned in a mile performance at the Auburn Invitational that nearly broke the school record. Her mile time of 4:51.96 now ranks second-best in school history. Miller produced a weight throw of 61-06.75 that earned her a sixth-place finish in the event and ranks her among the nation's top 25 in the event.

Meet events in Lexington will begin Friday at 6 p.m. with the weight throw. Saturday, events are set to run all day, starting at 10:30 a.m. with the women's high jump.
