OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss will kick off its home series against the Kentucky Wildcats this upcoming season on Thursday night as the SEC Game of the Week televised by ESPNU, the sports broadcasting network announced on Wednesday.

It marks the third season of the weekly featured broadcast thanks to the partnership between ESPN and the Southeastern Conference. The game of the week begins on March 28 and runs each week throughout the course of the regular season, with the final weekend broadcast site to be determined later in the season.

As a result of the broadcasting selection, the home series with the Wildcats will now move to a Thursday through Saturday series from its original Friday through Sunday format. Thursday night's game will begin at 6:30 p.m. CT at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.

The rest of the Southeastern Conference television schedule for baseball has yet to be determined and will be announced at a later date.
