Rebels Start 12 Game Road Trip, Begin SEC Play

OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss softball team begins a two-week, 12-game road trip on Tuesday that covers eight teams, five cities, four states, 4,881 miles and the start of Southeastern Conference action.
The Rebels will begin the journey on Tuesday with a non-conference matchup in Conway, Ark. against Central Arkansas at 5 p.m., before traveling to Fayetteville Ark. for the start of SEC play versus Arkansas. Ole Miss and the Razorbacks will play a doubleheader on Wednesday starting at 3 p.m., and both games will be televised by Cox Sports.
Ole Miss will then travel from Northwest Arkansas to Palo Alto, Calif. for a five-team tournament hosted by No. 10 Stanford that begins on Friday. The Rebels will face Cal Poly and Stanford on Friday, Colorado State and Stanford on Saturday and James Madison on Sunday before returning to Oxford on Monday.
Following the trip to the west coast, Ole Miss travels to Itta Bena, Miss. on Wednesday, March 14 for a non-conference game against Mississippi Valley State. The game is a make-up contest of the Rebels' game versus the Delta Devilettes on Feb. 29 that was rained out. The Rebels end the two-week odyssey with a trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for a three-game series against the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide beginning on Friday, March 16.
