Rebel Golfers To Find Out NCAA Destination Monday Night

OXFORD, Miss. - As conference championships for women's golf wrapped up this weekend, the Ole Miss women's golf team will learn its destination for the NCAA Championships Monday night through the NCAA Selection show on NCAA.com. The show begins at 8 p.m. CT.
The Rebels, ranked No. 39 in the latest Golfstat Rankings, are expected to earn their fourth straight NCAA Regional appearance under head coach Michele Drinkard. The team participated in the NCAA East Regional in Gainesville, Fla., in 2009, qualified for the NCAA Central Regional in Columbus, Ind., in 2010 and the NCAA East Regional in Daytona Beach, Fla., last year.
Regionals will take place May 10-12 at three different sites. The NCAA East Regional will be played at Penn State Golf Course in State College, Pa., the Central Regional will be held at The Ohio State Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio, and the West Regional will be played at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo.
"We are excited to learn our postseason destination tomorrow," Drinkard said. "We've been working hard since the SEC Championship, and wherever we are selected, the team is excited to go play."
The NCAA Finals will be held May 22-25 at the Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.
