Rebels' Season Concludes At Central Regional

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Haley Sanders and Natalie Gleadall each shot a 2-over 74 to lead the Ole Miss Rebels in the final round of the NCAA Central Regional at the Scarlet Course on the campus of Ohio State University Saturday afternoon.
The Rebels closed out the season with their best round of regional play, a 304, to finish in 13th.
No. 3 Southern Cal ran away with the regional championship, besting second-place No. 10 Vanderbilt by 25 strokes.
The Trojans also captured the individual championship as Lisa McCloskey earned medalist honors.
In addition to Southern Cal and Vanderbilt, six other teams advanced on to the NCAA Championships: Purdue, No. 14 Tennessee, Virginia, No. 16 Ohio State, No. 22 North Carolina State and Arkansas.
Sanders earned her fourth top-20 of the season, finishing at 10-over for the tournament. The junior capped off regional play with a steady final round, going over-par on just two holes to match her score from the first round.
Wrapping up her collegiate career Saturday, Gleadall birdied two of her first four holes and used that fast start to card a 2-over, as well.
Junior Ericka Schneider and freshman Taelor Rubin each turned in a 78 for the afternoon. Rubin rolled in three birdies on the back-nine.
Senior Haley Millsap also concluded her collegiate career on Saturday. Millsap, a four-year starter who played in all but two tournaments in her career, shot a 79.
In addition to Gleadall and Millsap, the Rebels also lose Ashley Lance to graduation.
