Ole Miss To Host National Anthem Auditions

OXFORD, Miss. - Want to perform the National Anthem at a basketball or baseball game? The Ole Miss Athletics Department and the Ole Miss Music Department will hold open auditions for national anthem performers on Saturday, Aug. 25.
The auditions will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Nutt Auditorium on University Avenue, across from the Gertrude Ford Center for Performing Arts.
These auditions are for individuals or groups interested in possibly performing the anthem at various athletic events on campus, with the exception of football games.
Ole Miss faculty, staff and students, along with the general public, may take part in the auditions. Auditions may be either vocal or instrumental. Vocal auditions must be performed a cappella.
In addition to solo performances, ensemble and collaborative auditions are also encouraged. Performances must be under 90 seconds in length.
