Former Ole Miss women's golfer and All-AmericanDori Carter will keep her LPGA card for the 2013 season after a top-20 finishat the 2012 Navistar LPGA Championship over the weekend.

Carter, who needed to record a top-20 finish to avoid having to go back to qualifying school, finished in a tie for 14th with a 67-67-73-70 (277).

"Finishing in the top-20 at the Navistar LPGA Classic and keeping my tour card for nextyear is incredible," Carter said. "It is also a huge relief. I have been through Q school before, so I know exactly what this means. I am so happy to have finished the year strong. I am also very thankful to have great family and friends who have supported through the thick and thin. Good luck to the Ole Miss women's golf team this year!"

With her tie for 14th, she finished 99th on the 2012 LPGA money list. Last month, Carter turned in what was then her highest LPGA finish with a tie for 19th at the Safeway Classic presented by Coca-Cola.
