OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss cross country teams head to Terre Haute, Indiana, for the Pre-Nationals Invitational on Saturday in the final meet before the SEC Championships.

The women's 6K begins at 10 a.m. CT with the men's 8K following at 10:35. Both races take place at the LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

The Rebels will compete against some of the highest ranked teams in the nation, including No. 1 Colorado and No. 2 Oregon on the men's side and No. 1 Michigan, No. 3 Oregon, No. 4 Georgetown and No. 7 Colorado on the women's side.

"Training has gone well over the last couple of weeks," Ole Miss head coach Brian O'Neal said. "Competing at the Pre-Nationals Invitational gives us a chance to see how we stack up against some of the top-ranked teams in the country. Our groups are looking forward to the challenge."

The Rebel men rank fourth in the USTFCCCA South Region while the women are 11th in the same poll.

Ole Miss also raced at this meet last season as well. Junior Wes Gallagher, while not at Ole Miss last year, competed in the 2013 NCAA Championships at this course.

The LaVern Gibson Course will host the NCAA Cross Country Championships later this year.
