OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss men's golf team will travel to Vestavia Hills, Alabama, Monday for the 2014 Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Alabama.

The two-day tournament will be held at the par-70, 7,209-yard course at the Old Overton Country Club and features a 12-team field that includes the host No. 21 Crimson Tide, Ole Miss, No. 2 Florida State, Mississippi State, Georgia State, No. 5 Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, UAB, Arkansas, UNLV, Charlotte and Texas-San Antonio.

"I'm excited to have our guys tee it up again in competition," head coach Chris Malloy said. "We obviously had a quick turnaround after the Shoal Creek Invitational and had a few days to make some corrections. We need to come out and attack the golf course earlier than we have been. As I have said before, we are very close to playing very good golf."

The Rebels' lineup will consist of sophomore Ben Wolcott, seniors Joe Lewis and Blake Morris, freshman Josh Seiple and sophomore Noah West.

At the Shoal Creek Invitational on Sept. 29-30, Ole Miss had three players finish in the top 20 for the first time since 2012. The Rebels will begin teeing off at 8:20 a.m. and will be paired with UAB and Mississippi State.
