Starting Five
1. Ole Miss returns to the hardwood after a eight-day layoff for the holiday to close out the non-conference slate against Southeastern Louisiana. The Rebels enter Monday's game as winners of their last three games after a 71-47 win over Alabama A&M on Dec. 20. With a win, Ole Miss will close the non-conference slate with a 10-3 record, its best start since 2011-12.
2. Tia Faleru picked up her 23rd career double-double with 24 points and 14 points against Alabama A&M. It was Faleru's third career double-double this season and her first since 29 points and 19 rebounds against Southern on Nov. 20. Faleru is the lone Ole Miss player to record a double-double this season.
3. With Faleru's 24 points against Alabama A&M, the Rebels had their first 20-point scorer since Toree Thompson scored a career-high 23 points against Utah at the Nugget Classic. This season, Ole Miss has had four players score 20+ and is lead by Faleru who has reached the mark on three occasions.
4. Erika Sisk getting picked up her third straight game of double figures with 12 points against Alabama A&M. The Oxford native, in her first year wearing an Ole Miss uniform, has scored in double figures in five straight games. Sisk is currently on a 12-game scoring streak and is averaging 12 points over the last three games.
5. Should Ole Miss defeat Southeastern Louisiana, it will give the Rebels 10 wins entering conference action. It will be the most wins for the Rebels entering the conference slate since 2011-12 and will put Ole Miss just two wins from equaling its win totals in each of the last two years. Ole Miss is looking for more than 12 wins for the first time since the 2009-10 season.
