While the Rebels have enjoyed a solid fall on the fields and courts and look forward to the upcoming Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and more basketball games, all student-athletes are busy this week proving they are champions in the classroom as well, with final exams taking place.
"Every finals' period is different. But after the success that all of our student-athletes experienced athletically, we wanted to encourage them in a different way." said senior associate athletics director for academics and student-athlete development, Derek Cowherd. "Our sports production staff is second to none. I came up with the concept and within days, it was done. Of course nothing takes the place of working hard, attending class or studying and preparing all year, but this added boost should remind all students that we care about how they perform academically as well."
