Ole Miss Partners With Edge Theory To Launch #WAOM

OXFORD, Miss. -- Ole Miss Athletics, in partnership with EdgeTheory, is pleased to announce #WAOM - a new way for Rebel fans to show support for the Red & Blue through social media.
"#WAOM is a natural addition to all of the other ways our amazing fans show support for our Rebels," says Ole Miss Director of Athletics Ross Bjork. "There have always been great ways to show financial support for Ole Miss, but now it is easier than ever before for everybody to lend support in the digital space.
"The expression 'We are Ole Miss' has special meaning and has represented the momentum we have gained as a university and athletics program. #WAOM hopes to further build confidence within Rebel Nation."
#WAOM is free for anyone with a Twitter account and gives Ole Miss fans the opportunity to tweet pre-approved messages about the school they love. After signing up at www.weareolemiss.com, messages will appear on your timeline several times a week with topics ranging from athletics to academics. #WAOM is the easiest way to show your love for Ole Miss throughout the year no matter where you are in the world.
Neither Ole Miss nor EdgeTheory will have access to any user's private or personal information, and users will be able to tweet just as they have always done but with the added bonus of supplementing their activity with Ole Miss-approved content.
