OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss head women's basketball coach Matt Insell announced that Chad Spencer will join the Ole Miss women's basketball staff and serve as video coordinator on Monday.
"I'm excited to add Chad to the Ole Miss family," said Insell. "Chad's passion and excitement to see our program reach the top of college basketball really stood out to me throughout this process and it excites me to know that we have him as apart of our program. Chad will be involved heavily in film breakdown of our future opponents and on our present team. His passion in this area will continue to help elevate our program from a preparation standpoint."
Spencer comes to Ole Miss after coaching high school basketball at Cascade High School in Tennessee. Spencer amassed a 105-86 record in seven seasons as head coach. Additionally, Spencer served as the head golf coach leading his team to four consecutive TSAA state tournament appearances. In addition to his high school coaching responsibilities, Spencer also served as the Battle in the 'Boro video production director, producing event, team and elite player highlights for the summer basketball event.
