Ole Miss is back in the friendly confines of The Pavilion at Ole Miss when it welcomes Jackson State for the 14th annual Kids Game. Tipoff is set for 11 AM and admission is FREE for those in attendance.

Starting Five
1. Ole Miss suffered its first loss of the season with a 64-57 setback to UNLV in the championship of the Lady Rebel Round-Up. Madinah Muhammad led the way with a career-best 24 points, while Shandricka Sessom tallied a team-best six rebounds. Ole Miss' five consecutive wins is the best start in the Insell era.
2. Madinah Muhammad had a great tournament at the UNLV Lady Rebel Round-Up. The Chicago, Ill., native tallied back-to-back games of 20+ points with 22 points against Wisconsin and 24 against UNLV. Muhammad's 24 points is a new career-best and Muhammad is the first player to record back-to-back games of 20 or more points this season.
3. Freshman Kate Rodgers tallied a career-best eight rebounds in Ole Miss' win over Wisconsin. The Birmingham native tallied eight rebounds - all in the second half - against the Badgers. Rodgers eight rebounds are the fourth most by a Rebel this season and the most from a freshman.
4. Ole Miss is meeting Jackson State on the hardwood for the 25 the time and the first time since 2010. The Rebels lead the series, 21-3 and have a 13 game win streak in games played in Oxford. Ole Miss will also take on Mississippi Valley from the SWAC and is 75-6 all-time against teams in the SWAC.
5. Erika Sisk is just five points away from 1,000 career points. She will become the second player to achieve the milestone under head coach Matt Insell and staff and will become the 27th player in program history to top 1,000 career points.
Ole Miss vs. Jackson State Notables
-Ole Miss and Jackson State are meeting for the 25th time on Thursday and the first time since the 2010 season. Ole Miss leads the series, 21-3, and has won the last 15 meetings between the two teams. Additionally, Ole Miss has a 13-0 record in games played in Oxford.
-Jackson State is one of two teams from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) the Rebels will face this season. Ole Miss will also take on Mississippi Valley State later in the season; Ole Miss is 75-6 against teams from the SWAC.
-The Lady Tigers have several Mississippi natives on their roster as well as several Memphis natives. Ole Miss doesn't have any players from the Jackson metro area but has four players from Mississippi on the roster.
A Win Would
-Put Ole Miss back in the win column after a loss to UNLV on Sunday. A win would give Ole Miss its sixth win of the season and would equal the best start through seven games in the Insell era. Ole Miss also went 6-1 to open the 2014-15 season.
-Give Ole Miss its 800th program victory. The Rebels would become one of six SEC programs to record 800 all-time wins.
Rebels By The Numbers
1- Number of wins Ole Miss needs to reach 800 program victories. Currently Ole Miss' all-time record is 979-494. Ole Miss' first chance to reach 800 wins will be against Jackson State. Ole Miss will become one of just six SEC schools to reach the milestone.
4-Number of wins head coach Matt Insell needs to earn his 50th career win. Insell is 46-54 in three years as head coach of the Ole Miss women's basketball team. The earliest Insell could get win No. 50 would be against Oregon on Dec. 14.
5- Number of points Erika Sisk needs to hit the 1,000-point milestone. The Oxford native has scored over 300 points in two of her three collegiate seasons and seems poised to become Ole Miss' 27th 1,000- point scorer in school history. Currently, Sisk is averaging 9.8 ppg.
23.0-Number of points Madinah Muhammad averaged at the Lady Rebel Round-Up. Muhammad set a new career best with 22 points against Wisconsin and then topped that mark with 24 points against UNLV. With her two 20+ outings, she now has topped 20 points on four occasions.
50.0-Number of points Ole Miss opponents are averaging this season. The 50.0 points ranks the Rebels No. 8 the nation in scoring defense. UNLV and High Point have scored the most points against Ole Miss this season with 64 and 62 points, respectively. Ole Miss held Southeastern Louisiana to a program-low 31 points in the season-opener.
Scouting Jackson State
Jackson State enters Thursday's game with a 3-1 record after falling to Nicholls State on November 22. The Lady Tigers have three players in double figures with Derica Wiggins leading the way with 13.5 points per game. Khadijah Moore and Radejah Woodson are also in double figures with 10.5 ppg and 10.3 ppg, respectively. Moore also leads the rebounding efforts with 7.0 boards per game. Ole Miss is the lone power five school on the Lady Tigers schedule. The teams have a common opponent in Southeastern Louisiana. Ole Miss defeated the Lions, 81-31, to open the season on Nov. 11 and Jackson State will host Southeastern Louisiana on Dec. 13.

Ole Miss extended its win streak to five straight with a 69-44 win over Wisconsin in the opening round of the UNLV Lady Rebel Round-Up but dropped its first game of the season to host UNLV, 64-57, in the championship game. Madinah Muhammad is leading the Rebels in scoring with 16.6 points per game and is joined in double figures by Shandricka Sessom who is averaging 13.7 points per game. Oxford native Erika Sisk isn't far from double figures with 9.8 points per game. While freshman Shelby Gibson is averaging 8.0 points per game. Shequila Joseph is leading the rebounding efforts with a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game. Sessom became Ole Miss' first 20-point scorer with 26 points against Lipscomb and tallied her third career double-double and the first of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds against Jacksonville State, while Madinah Muhammad became the first Rebel to score 20+ in back-to-back games with 22 vs. Wisconsin and 24 against UNLV. Erika Sisk is five points from reaching 1,000 career points and Matt Insell is four wins away from his 50th career win.
