Scholtz Reaches Singles Semis, Doubles Final…
Nik Scholtz wrapped up a solid three weeks in Mexico advancing to the singles semifinals and the doubles final this past weekend.

He left Mexico with two titles, one in doubles his first week there, and then a singles title during the second week.

This past week, Scholtz rallied to take out the No. 1 seed in the quarterfinals before dropping his semifinal match to Manuel Sanchez of Mexico. In doubles, Scholtz teamed up with former Illinois player Ruben Gonzales, who owns a 210 doubles ranking, to reach the final.
