Thornberry, Wolcott Named To PING Southeast All-Region Team

SUGAR GROVE, Ill. - Ole Miss sophomore Braden Thornberry and senior Ben Wolcott have been named to the PING Southeast All-Region team, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced.

Thornberry and Wolcott have combined for six individual wins this season and will both finish with two of the top-five scoring averages in program history. They have led the Rebels to four tournament wins this year and helped Ole Miss to a fourth place finish at the NCAA Austin Regional to advance to the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2001. Thornberry will tee off today at 1:40 p.m. in the NCAA Golf Championship in the final round of stroke play, where he trails the leader by two strokes and is in second place at 10-under par.
