OXFORD, Miss. – In the fourth part of our #FreshFaceFriday series for the 2018-19 Ole Miss Women's Basketball team, we get to know junior guard Shannon Dozier.
On her first basketball memory…
"My first memory of basketball probably would be my brother taking me out on the court. It was down the street from my house and we were just shooting. He was just showing me the basics."
On when she first fell in love with the game…
"Probably my eighth-grade summer of AAU. I had a different coach and he always had me shooting. And that is how I fell in love with the game, just shooting, and it transformed into the game, I was making shots, so I fell in love with it."
On her game…
"Fast paced, I like to shoot, I also like to drive as well."
On the facilities…
"The facilities are just something that I am not used to. I enjoy everything, the buildings, walking around campus, seeing new faces. I love it here in Oxford."
