Dunlap hails from Columbia, S.C.

OXFORD, Miss. – In the sixth part of our #FreshFaceFriday series for the 2018-19 Ole Miss Women's Basketball team, we get to know junior forward Jhileiya Dunlap.

On her first basketball memory…
"My first time stepping on to the court was with a team full of boys. I just basically learned from a bunch of boys being the only the girl on the team. So, I basically stood out to everyone because I was the only girl on the team."

On her favorite high school memory…
"My favorite high school memory was in eighth grade, it was my first time playing on varsity high school. I was in eighth grade and we were at the state championship. My team was down eight and my coach put me in, and I scored the eight points to bring my team back to win the state championship."

On Coach Yo…
"Coach Yo is a cool person, she has a cool personality. She is someone you can talk to as a mentor and a coach."

On her game…
"I would describe my playing style as fast. I do a lot of blocking, and I would probably describe my game as dependable."
