Pizza Bowl XIX Set for Friday at 6 p.m.

Ryan Olenek and Michael Fitzsimmons to Coach Intrasquad Contest
OXFORD, Miss. – The 19th annual Pizza Bowl will pit Team Ryan Olenek against Team Michael Fitzsimmons this Friday at 6 p.m. CT at Swayze Field.
A tradition that head coach Mike Bianco brought to Oxford when he started at Ole Miss in the summer of 2000, the Pizza Bowl serves as the end of the fall season for the Rebels. The game, and the practices leading up to it, are coached by veteran players.
Ole Miss held its Pizza Bowl draft Monday at the Baseball Performance Center. The two first-round selections were Tyler Keenan for Team Fitz and Will Ethridge for Team Oley. The full Pizza Bowl rosters can be found below.
It will be a 10-inning contest in which pitchers are allowed to throw a maximum of two innings each. All position players must get at least one at-bat. If the game goes to extra innings, the teams will begin with the bases loaded and one out. At the conclusion of the game, the winning team is rewarded with pizza, while the losing team runs on the field. Team Oley will serve as the home team.
Admission is free for fans, as well as parking. All lots surrounding Swayze Field will be open for the game, except for Lot H, the small lot across the street from the field, which will be reserved for RV parking for Saturday's football game against South Carolina. Concessions will not be open for the game.
