SCHEDULE UPDATE
• Due to poor air quality in the Palo Alto area, Ole Miss' match vs. Stanford has been relocated to Rabobank Stadium in Salinas, California and rescheduled for a 10 p.m. CT kickoff.

KICKERS
• Ole Miss is making its eighth overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament, earning a bid for the third time in the past four seasons. Of Ole Miss' eight appearances, four have come during the Matt Mott era.
• The Rebels earned a hard-fought 2-1 road victory over No. 25 Clemson in the first round, the second NCAA Tournament win over the Tigers for Ole Miss since 2015.
• It was the fourth win over a team ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll this season, the most in a single season in Ole Miss-history.
• The Rebels improved to 11-1-0 in 2018 when scoring multiple goals.
Mary Kate Smith gave the Rebels a first half lead, scoring in the 24th-minute off of a feed from CeCe Kizer.
• After the Tigers equalized early in the second half, Grace Johnson headed home the game-winner in the 55th-minute off of a corner kick from Haleigh Stackpole.
• Friday's match will be the first-ever meeting between Ole Miss and Stanford.
• The defending national champion, Stanford has spent the entire season atop the USC Coaches Poll and is ranked No. 1 in the NCAA RPI report with an undefeated record of 18-0-2.
• It will be the first time playing the No. 1 team in the nation for Ole Miss since taking on Florida State in Tallahassee in the second round of the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
• At 2.68 goals per game, the Cardinal rank second in the nation in scoring offense. Meanwhile, Stanford is ranked fifth in goals against average at 0.457.
• The Cardinal's Alana Cook, Jordan DiBiasi and Catarina Macario were named Pac-12 Players of the Year at the respective positions of defender, midfielder and forward. Stanford's Paul Ratcliffe was named the league coach of the year as well.
• Stanford was represented by 10 players on the All-Pac-12 Teams.

SCOUTING STANFORD
The Cardinal come into Friday's contest riding a 42-match unbeaten streak, going 18-0-2 so far in 2018, including 10-0-1 at Laird Q. Cagan Stadium in Stanford. The top-ranked Cardinal will pose a tough task for the Rebels, ranking second in the nation in scoring offense at 2.70 goals per game while posting the NCAA's third-lowest goals against average of 0.435.

The Stanford lineup finds scoring in many places, with the Cardinal's 54 goals this season coming from 18 different players. Despite only appearing in 15 of Stanford's 20 matches, and making just nine starts, sophomore forward Catarina Macario leads the team with 12 goals, adding six assists for 30 total points. Senior midfielder Jordan DiBiasi isn't far behind with nine goals and a team-best eight assists, forwards Sophia Smith and Civana Kuhlmann have contributed seven and five scores, respectively.

In goal, senior keeper Alison Jahansouz has seen the bulk of the action, making 16 starts on the year. Jahansouz has allowed just seven goals on the season for a 0.44 goals against average, making 40 saves for a 0.851 save percentage. Junior Lauren Rood has seen spot duty, making five appearances and four starts. Rood has made the most of her opportunities, registering a 0.43 GAA with a 0.846 save percentage.

SERIES HISTORY - STANFORD
Friday's affair will be the first-ever meeting between the Rebels and the Cardinal, making Stanford the 108th different opponent in Ole Miss-history.

GRACE JOHNSON NAMED TO TDS TEAM OF THE WEEK
After heading home the game-winner in Ole Miss' 2-1 road victory at No. 25 Clemson in the first round, Rebel defender Grace Johnson was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Team of the Week.

The goal was the sophomore's first of the season and the first game-winner of her collegiate career. Johnson also played a pivotal role in an outstanding defensive performance from the Rebels, becoming just the fifth team all season to hold the Tigers without multiple scores.

It was the second time in the Centerville, Utah native's career landing on the TDS Team of the Week after also receiving the honor following week four of the freshman season a year ago. Johnson becomes the second Rebel this year to make the team of the week, joining CeCe Kizer, who received the distinction following the first week of the season.

STILL DANCING!
For the third time in the last four seasons, Ole Miss has received a bid to the NCAA Tournament after previously receiving a bid in 2015 and 2017. The run is tied for the most successful in Ole Miss-history, with the Rebels also receiving a bid in 3-of-4 seasons from 2002-05. Of Ole Miss' eight NCAA Tournament appearances, four have come during the Matt Mott era (since 2010). The Rebels have advanced to the second round for just the fourth time in program-history, making their deepest run ever to the Sweet 16 in 2015.

KIZER EARNS GOOGLE CLOUD ACADEMIC ALL-DISTRICT HONORS
Last week, CeCe Kizer was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District 6 First Team by the Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), the second-consecutive year that the senior has received the honor. Last season, the Overland Park, Kansas native became the first player in Ole Miss history to receive Academic All-American recognition.
