SURPRISE, Ariz. –
The fall season concludes as Ole Miss vies for titles in the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex, Nov. 7-11. The tournament will feature a 64-player singles draw, and a 32-team doubles draw. For a list of qualifying criteria visit the event page. The women will send a pair of singles competitors in senior Tea Jandric and sophomore Sabina Machalova, and doubles duo of junior Alexa Bortles and freshman Isolde de Jong

Play begins Wednesday with first round doubles and singles action. The  women's singles finals can be streamed live on ESPN3 and the ESPN App on Sunday, Nov. 11.

"Very excited to finish out the fall with 4 players qualifying for this prestigious event," head coach Mark Beyers said.  "Any time you have a chance to play for a national championship, it's a big deal. Hopefully we can have another strong showing, and carry that momentum into the spring semester."

Jandric received an at-large bid due to her runner-up finish at the 2018 ITA South Regional, where she battled it out in three sets with conference foe Eden Richardson (ranked 7th in the country) from LSU.  Machalova earned a berth via her preseason national ranking, beginning the fall season ranked 53rd. Jandric faces Nina Khmelnitckaia of Kansas at 9:00 a.m. CT, while Machalova challenges Berta Bonardi of West Florida at 11:00 a.m. CT.

In doubles competition, Bortles and de Jong team up against Vanderbilt's Christina Rosca and Summer Dvorak at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The pair also earned a spot by being a regional finalist, also falling in three sets to the reigning national champions in Jessica Golovin and Richardson.

Draws, schedule of play, daily recaps and a photo gallery can be found on the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships event page . Live scoring via Tennis Ticker will be available, while TempuZ will provide live streaming coverage from two courts at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex.
