NFL Rebels Update: Week 4

A.J. Brown Caught Three Passes for 94 Yards and Two Touchdowns

OXFORD, Miss. – Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the status of our former players in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year and there are currently 27 Rebels on NFL rosters, including two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning and 2019 second round draft picks Greg Little, A.J. Brown, and D.K. Metcalf.
 
Among the NFL Rebels, A.J. Brown had the best week. The rookie put up an impressive stat line of 94 receiving yards and two receiving touchdowns, the first two of his NFL career.
 
Overall, 19 of them played in the fourth week of the 2019 season. Here's a rundown of how each NFL Rebel performed:
 
#38 Brandon Bolden | RB | New England Patriots
Scored the only offensive touchdown for the Patriots on his lone carry in the 16-10 victory over the Bills.
 
#11 A.J. Brown | WR | Tennessee Titans
Caught two touchdowns on three receptions for 94 yards in the 24-10 victory over the Falcons. His first score of the game came when he beat several defenders for a 55-yard touchdown, the first of his NFL career. His second touchdown came on a fade for an 11-yard score. Through the first four games of his NFL career, the 2019 second round pick has 10 receptions for 223 yards and two touchdowns.

#98 Fadol Brown | DE | Green Bay Packers
Played 13 snaps on special teams and two on defense in the 34-27 loss to the Eagles on Thursday night.

#16 Cody Core | WR | New York Giants
Played seven snaps on offense and 13 on special teams in the 24-3 victory over the Redskins.

#88 Evan Engram | TE | New York Giants
Caught four passes for 54 yards in the 24-3 victory over the Redskins. So far this season, he has hauled in 27 catches for 331 yards and two touchdowns.

#98 Marquis Haynes | DE | Carolina Panthers
Played 12 snaps on defense and 19 on special teams in the 16-10 victory over the Texas.

#28 Mike Hilton | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Recorded five tackles and one tackle for loss in the 27-3 victory over the Bengals on Monday night.
 
#95 Lavon Hooks | DE | Pittsburgh Steelers
On injured reserve.
 
#64 John Jerry | G | Cincinnati Bengals
Played 13 snaps on offense and one on special teams in the 27-3 loss to the Steelers on Monday night.

#88 Dawson Knox | TE | Buffalo Bills
Caught all three of his targets for 58 yards, including a highlight reel catch for 21 yards in the 16-10 loss to the Patriots.

Started at tackle and played all 68 offensive snaps in the 16-10 victory over the Texans.

#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Did not play.

#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Chicago Bears
Started at tackle and played all 72 snaps in the 16-6 victory over the Vikings.
 
#14 D.K. Metcalf | WR | Seattle Seahawks
Hauled in one reception for six yards in the 27-10 victory over the Cardinals. So far this season, he has 10 receptions for 223 yards and one touchdown.

#11 Donte Moncrief | WR | Pittsburgh Steelers
Appeared in the 27-3 victory over the Bengals on Monday night.
 
#49 C.J. Moore | S | Detroit Lions
Played two snaps on defense and 26 on special teams in the 34-30 loss to the Chiefs.
